Elements of Friction
  • If Your Tomorrow Never Comes I think this is my favourite guitar solo I have every played on record. All the solos on this record were improvised and Ricky and I chose the best parts of each take.

  • Havana Great rocking track

  • One Man One Heart As far as I can remember, this is the first time I have combined "metal" and flamenco guitar.

  • One Fatal Word I really enjoyed layering all the guitar parts on this one

  • Who Is This Talking You can really hear the "John Waite" in this one!

  • Light at the End of the Tunnel Chorus sounds menacing to me -especially the last one

  • Read My Mind I had to learn Neal Schon's parts on this coz he played on the demo. If that wasn't enough, I had cop his amazing feel. I got close but not quite!

  • I Got Loaded The was hard to record becasue it's such a slow laid back feel. I like the way it all came out though

  • King of Fools Ricky did a nice job playing the solo on this one.

  • Forever This is my favorite song on the record. Mainly becasue of the great vocal and melody. Ricky wrote it and played most of the lead gtr. I played the rhythm gtr and harmonies on the way out.

  • Innocent Touch

Fredericksen Phillips
  • Oh Diane This was the first song I recorded for a "real" record. I did all the rhythms and Steve Farris played the rest. He's a great guitarist

  • You Must Be a Liar Michael Tovar and I played the gtrs. Mike's playing all the blistering blues. This was an exciting track for me coz I wrote all the gtr parts and played a Plexi through a leslie. Talk about a GRIN!

  • Queen Bee Ricky and I co wrote this one. Mike Finnigan played B3 which was a thrill. Bobby Blotzer is on drums.

  • Long Way Around the World Pat Torpey on drums. Great vibe on this one. That's Tover again on slide gtr

  • How Much Longer I didn't play on this one, Tim Pierce did, but I wanted to post it to remember our friend John Purdell who co wrote it and sang BGs. I always loved this song.

Misc Sessions and Productions
  • Israeli Soldier Here a cool track by an artist called Hayla. Tal Bergman and Renato Neto produced the track and I produced the vocals.

  • Everything Phil Soussan asked me to sing on this track he was producing and here's the result...we both enjoyed the session and hope to repeat soon.

  • Vuelve Maria Jaime Roldan just produced a record of his own songs done by other artists. I sang this one.

  • You Become My World I love this world music track. I wrote it and Tal Bergman and I produced it.

  • Lost I love the way this track sounds and really enjoy playing this style of guitar - simple but with lost of character, at least I think so! Tal and I produced it for an artist called Gilat

Demos
  • A Perfect World Demo with bare bones production.

  • Time and Tide Wait for No Man Another bare bones demo. I sort of like doing these no frills recordings

Ku De Ta
  • Through It All This is on of my fav projects.Ricky Phillips, Jeff Scott Soto. The first song skips a bit but worth listening on.

  • Skeletons Rick wrote some great lyrics on the record. This is just one example.

  • Still be Loving You This track can also be found on Jeff's Essential Ballads record. I like the spanish gtr on this one

  • You'll Always Touch Me A clever compilation of Jimi Hendrix lyrics. Amazing vocal!!

  • 2012 Rick wrote this on piano and asked me to transcribe and put on gtr - hence the 2 foot long chords!

  • The Night She Said Goodbye The first song we recorded and the song that helped us define the style of guitar playing for the record

  • Fools Gold Nice blend of flamencoish spanish guitar and rocky soulful vocals. Jeff sounds amazing especially towards the end of this one.

  • Window To You Soul Trying to play like joe pass on this one. That's Rick doing the main part. I come in with the walking bass guitar comp and the solo.

Unreleased World Rock Project
  • Fallin These tracks are a series of demos I did while living in Spain in 2003-4. I'm planning on getting them placed or released one of these days

  • Can You Feel Me?

  • Tuyo Siempre Sere Steve Stevens played a great solo on this track. He and I worked together on some promo for Flamenco A GoGo and I played on Situation Dangerous

  • Rescue Me I toured Europe with Mike Tramps band, Freak of Nature. This is a "world rock" cover I did of their first single. It's a REAL sitar in the solo!

  • City of Life I like the way the acoustic and the Flamenco guitars work together on this track

  • Would You Believe In Me?

  • Tal Vez Ceeras En Mi

  • Lay Me Down I suppose this whole project could be called "World Rock" and I think this track sums it up.

  • The Eyes of the World Within hours of 11M bombing in Madrid i locked myself in the studio for a day and demoed this song.

  • Far Away

Shuki Levy
  • ULYSSES This theme of cartoon series, ULYSSES was an anthem for us kids in Spain. On this remake, I produced vocals, gtrs and some keys. Tal played drums, perc and did a great job building the track

  • Cites of Gold Another remake of one of Shuki's cartoon series Themes. This was also big one. Again I produced all vocals and played guitars. Terry Ilous sang lead on both of these
